The Dutch private sector in Rwanda has a positive impact on the country’s economy and workforce. The 17 participating Dutch organizations in the Responsible Business Conduct survey have created a total of 4529 jobs, with 56.6% being held by men and 43.4% by women. These jobs are mostly permanent and contribute to stability and sustainability for employees and their families.
The survey also showed that salaries and wages, training and education, additional incentives and other employment benefits were offered to employees. The organizations prioritize personnel’s personal development, ensuring good working times in accordance with Rwandan labor law.
This shows the significant efforts made by Dutch organizations to support the growth and development of the Rwandan economy and workforce.
